Like a wave in the ocean !

La semaine dernière je vous présentais le dégradé que j'ai réalisé avec les vernis bleus de la collection Morning of Greece de Nfu Oh et cette semaine je viens vous parler de la déco que j'ai réalisé par dessus.

Last week, I was presenting you the gradient I have made using the blue colours from the collection Morning of Greece from Nfu Oh and this week I am coming to present you the nail-art I have added over it.

Vous vous en doutiez je suis sure, je ne pouvais pas laisser ce gradient nu et il fallait que je lui ajoute un stamping. J'ai mis un peu de temps à trouver le motif que j'allais ajouter parce que je ne voulais pas cacher ce dégradé mais finalement j'ai trouvé.

As you have probably guessed I could not leave this gradient naked and I had to add a stamping. It took me some time to find the patter I wanted to add, as I did not want to cover the gradient but I have finally found it.

Le motif que j'ai choisi se trouve sur la plaque Bundle Monster BM-418 et je trouve qu'il ressemble un peu à une vague par son côté imprécis. C'est pour cette raison que j'ai choisi d'utiliser un vernis blanc pour le stamper sur mon dégradé.

The pattern I have chosen is on BM-418 Bundle Monster plate and it looks like a wave according to me, because of its random lines. This is for this reason that I have decided to stamp it using white color.

J'avais placé beaucoup d'espoir dans ce tampon puisque je ne peux pas utiliser mes vernis Color Alike avec mon autre tampon transparent mais malheureusement je dois dire que j'ai été un peu déçue.

I was really expecting a lot from this stamper as I cannot user my previous transparent stamper with my Color Alike nail polish but unfortunately I have to say that I was a little bit disappointed.

 

Ce tampon nécessite un peu de préparation avant de pouvoir l'utiliser: j'ai dû légèrement limer la surface avec ma lime en verre et ensuite laver à l'eau savonneuse la tête de mon tampon pour réussir à prélever mes motif blanc. Une fois ces étapes réalisées, j'ai pu stamper mes motifs sur mes ongles.

This stamper needs to be prepared before you can use it: I had to buff the head with my glass buffer and then to was it with warm water and soap, to be able to use it. After these steps, I could stamp my white patterns over my nails.

 

Je dois avouer que j'ai tout de même eu beaucoup de mal à prélever les motifs avec mon vernis blanc mais j'ai refait un test avec un vernis doré, et tout s'est très bien passé donc je pense que mes vernis spécial stamping ont quelques difficultés à sympathiser avec les tampons transparents.

I have to admit that it was a little bit hard to stamp the pattern using my white nail polish but I did another trial using a gold nail polish and it worked perfectly, so I think that my stamping polish are hard to use with transparent stampers.
