Toujours dans le but de poser tous les nouveaux vernis que j'ai dans ma collection, j'ai eu envie de poser récemment un de mes premiers Picture Polish. Je n'avais encore jamais testé cette marque de vernis et c'est un peu une des marques qui me fait le plus envie donc il me fallait en poser un rapidement.

I am still having the goal to apply all the new nail polish that I have in my collection I wanted to apply recently one of my first Picture Polish. I did not try this brand yet and it is one of the brand that I really really wanted to have so I had to apply one very quick !

Parmi les trois que je possède, deux ont plutôt des couleurs printanières ou estivales selon moi et une correspond parfaitement à la saison et c'est vers cette dernière teinte que je me suis tournée pour tester la marque.

Ce vernis en question c'est donc Hope.

Among the three nail polish of the brand that I have, two of them are more spring/summer colours and the other one is perfect for this season and this is the one I have chosen to start my trial of the brand.

This nail polish is Hope.

Il est sorti il y a quelques années maintenant et c'est une teinte qui a été créé en collaboration avec la blogueuse Vernis en Folie que nous connaissons toutes puisqu'elle a depuis créé la marque Il Etait Un Vernis.

Ce vernis je le voulais parce que c'est une collaboration avec une blogueuse que j'aime bien mais aussi parce que j'aime sa couleur bleu profonde. Il m'a fallu un peu de temps pour l'acquérir mais maintenant c'est bon je l'ai et je remercie Carwox de s'en être séparé ce qui m'a permis de l'acquérir à moindre cout.

It came out a few years ago and it is a collaboration shade made with the blogger Vernis en Folie that we all know as she has recently the brand Il Etait un Vernis.

I wanted this nail polish because it is a collaboration shade with a nail blogger that I like but also because I like its deep dark blue colours. It took me some time to get it but now I have it and I would like to say thank you to Carwox who sold it on her Instagram and who allowed me to get it for a less expensive price.

Ce vernis est absolument superbe. C'est une couleur bleue nuit très profonde remplie de paillettes et de reflets bleus et turquoises qui parait presque noire selon l'orientation de la lumière. Le retrait de ce vernis se fait à merveille malgré toutes ces paillettes. Je suis absolument comblée par ce vernis et ravie de l'avoir dans ma collection.

This nail polish is absolutely wonderful. This a deep dark blue shade full of blue and turquoise glitters and sparkles and the nail polish even look black sometime depending on the light. To remove this nail polish, it is very easy despite the quantity of glitters inside. I am really happy with this shade, and glad I have it in my collection.

 

 

 

J'ai eu envi de le nailarter ce vernis évidemment mais je ne voulais pas le recouvrir entièrement pour pouvoir l'admirer aussi souvent que possible, j'ai donc décidé de faire un double accent nail en reverse stamping. Une fois que le nail-art a été terminé je me suis rendue compte que j'aurais du choisir d'autres couleurs mais tant pis c'est fait.

I wanted to add a nail-art over this nail polish but I did not want to hide it totally so that I can admire it as often as possible, so I have decided to do a double accent nail using the reverse stamping technic. Once the nail-art was over, I realised that I should have chosen different colours, but it was already done.

 

 

 

J'ai donc utilisé un motif de la plaque BP-23 de chez Born Pretty Store que j'ai stampé avec mon vernis argenté Kiko Mirror n°616. J'ai rempli les petits motifs de fleurs avec Mint to be yours de Il Etait un Vernis et j'ai ensuire déposé les patchs sur me ongles. Une fois les patchs déposés, je me suis rendue compte que le contraste entre le vernis argenté et Mint to be yours n'était pas assez grand et donc qu'on ne voyait pas bien les motifs de fleurs. Si je devais refaire ce nail-art je choisirais soit de faire un stamping blanc, soit de remplir les fleurs avec un vernis crème plutôt qu'avec un vernis holographique.

I have used a pattern on the plate BP-23 from Born Pretty Store, that I have stamped using by silver nail polish Kiko mirror number 616. I filled the flowers using Mint to be yours from Il Etait un Vernis and then I have applied the home made patchs over my nails. Once the patchs applied I realised that the contrast between the silver and Mint to be yours was not high enough and so we cannot see clearly the flowers. If I try this nail art again I would use white polish to stamp or a cream polish (instead of a holographic one) to fill the pattern.

 
 

Néanmoins, j'ai bien aimé ce nail-art que j'ai gradé quelques jours. A chaque fois que mes ongles étaient exposés à la lumière, je regardais les différents reflets que prenaient Hope.

C'est le premier vernis de la marque que je pose, et je suis absolument ravie donc c'est sur et certain je ne vais pas en rester là avec ma collection !!

Anyway, I like this nail-art and I kept it for a few days. Every time my nails were under the light I was watching them to see the different sparkles of Hope.

This is the first nail polish of the brand that I am applying and I am absolutely glad so this is sure I will not stop here my collection !!

A la découverte d'Il Etait Un Vernis !

Si vous êtes une NPA vous connaissez surement la marque Il Etait Un Vernis. Petite marque française qui vient de célébrer son premier anniversaire et qui nous surprend toutes à chaque nouvelle collection.

Quand cette marque est sortie, j'avais très envie de me procurer certains vernis mais étant toujours étudiante, je n'ai pas pu et depuis je n'ai pas encore pu passer une seule commande sur le site de la marque pour m'offrir un de ces précieux. Si je le peux financièrement parlant, je me procurerais surement la collection de cette hiver, si les teintes me plaisent évidemment.

If you are a NPA you probably know the brand Il Etait Un Vernis. This little frenchie brand which has just celebrated its first birthday and which surprise us all at each new collection.

When this brand was launched I really wanted to buy some of the polishes but as I was a student I could not order and I still did not order yet any nail polish on the online store. If I have enough money, I will buy the winter collection, and if I like the polish obviously.

En attendant de passer commande sur le site, je surveille toujours les vides vernithèques des copines pour voir si je ne peux pas me procurer un petit précieux qui figure sur ma wish list à moindre coup, et c'est comme ça que j'ai pu me procurer mon premier vernis Il Etait un Vernis.

While waiting to order online, I keep an eye on Instagram because sometimes some friends want to sell their nail polish and it is a way for me to get the one on my wish list for a cheaper price. And this is how I could get my very first Il Etait Un Vernis nail polish.

Blondinails voulait se séparer de Mint to be yours et ce vernis faisait partie des deux vernis que je voulais absolument me procurer parmi la collection de cet été. Elle a été assez gentille pour attendre que mes finances soient au beau fixe (merci encore <3) et ce petit fait désormais partie de ma collection =).

Blondinails wanted to get rid of Mint to be yours and this nail polish is one of the polish I wanted from last summer collection. She was kind enough to wait that I have enough money to buy it (Thanks again <3) and this little one is now part of my collection =).

C'est une jolie couleur vert/menthe holographique qui est absolument superbe et qu'il me fallait absolument. J'ai posé ce petit il y a quelques temps maintenant et j'ai pu admirer ces milliers de reflets holographiques lorsque monsieur le Soleil était assez sympa pour se montrer un petit peu, malheureusement je n'ai pas pu le prendre en photo au soleil.

This is a nice green/mint holographic color which is absolutely wonderful and that I really needed to have in my collection. I have applied this one a few time ago so I was able to admire all the holographic reflects when the sun was kind enough to be present in Ireland but unfortunately I was not able to take picture of this polish in the sun.

Je n'ai pas eu le temps, ni même l'envie à vrai dire, de lui associer un nail-art donc je l'ai porté seul pendant quelques jours et je peux vous dire que je l'ai beaucoup beaucoup aimé.

I did not have time and I did not want to add a nail-art on this nail polish so I wore this one alone on my nails for a few days and I can tell you that I loved it a lot.

La pose de ce vernis m'a encore plus donné envie de me procurer d'autres vernis de la marque. L'application est agréable et le séchage est plutôt rapide et puis ce holo et cette couleur.... Toutes les couleurs de cette marque sont originales, donc toutes les NPA peuvent trouver un vernis qui leur plait ^^. Le seul hic selon moi, c'est que les collections ne sont produites que pendant 6 mois. Je comprends le problème d'espace des créatrices mais je regrette de ne pas pouvoir me procurer certains vernis sortis il y a déjà un an maintenant.

The application of this nail polish make me want more of this brand. The application is very nice and it dries quite quick and the color and the holographic reflects... All the colors of this brand are very unique and original, so every NPA can find the color she wants ^^. The only bad thing according to me, is that the collection only last 6 months. I totally understand why but I regret that I cannot buy some polish that were released one year ago.
