St Valentin d'hiver

Oui je sais, je suis en retard pour vous poster cet article mais j'ai eu une semaine un peu chaotique juste avant de partir en vacances au ski et je n'ai absolument pas eu le temps de me faire les ongles. J'ai pris le temps vendredi soir, veille de mon depart de reprendre mes flacons pour ne pas repartir les ongles nus et du coup je n'ai pas eu le temps de poster mon article.

Bref.

Yes I know, I am late to post this article but the week before I left on holidays was a little bit chaotic and I absolutely did not have time to paint my nails. I took some times on Friday night, the day before I left to take my little polish not to be naked nails on holidays and I did not have time to post my article.

Anyway.

Je vous avais dit que pour partir au ski, j'hésitais à me faire une manucure de St Valentin ou bien une manucure hivernale. Finalement, j'ai mixé les deux en utilisant des couleurs absolument pas de saisons ^^.

I told you that to go on holidays, I was hesitating between a Valentine's Day manicure or a winter kind of manicure. Finally I did both using colors that are absolutely not winter colors ^^.

J'avais en fait très envie de faire un dégradé coloré, recouvert de mon superbe Djinn in a bottle et mes vernis Bleached Neons de chez Maybelline m'appelaient très fortement pour ce dégradé. Je n'en ai utilisé qu'un seul sur les 4 depuis que je les ai, donc il était temps d'utiliser les autres.

Actually I wanted to do a colorful gradient covered by my wonderful Djinn in a bottle and muy Bleached Neons nail polish from Maybelline were calling me so hard to use them for this gradient. Since I bought them I have only used one and it was time to use the other ones.

J'ai donc commencé par poser le petit orange, Sun Flare, sur mes ongles le jeudi soir mais je n'ai pas eu le temps de le photographié, j'espère que vous m'excuserez. Et puis vendredi soir en rentrant du travail, j'ai sorti mon éponge et deux autres petits vernis de la collection, Tropink et Coral Heat, et j'ai fait mon dégradé. Ensuite j'ai recouvert de paillettes holo avec Djinn.

So I have started applying the little orange one on my nails on Thursday night but I did not have time to take pictures of it, I hope you don't mind. And Friday night, back from work, I took a sponge and the other colors from the collection, Troping and Coral Heat, and I did my gradient. To smooth everything, I added some holographic glitters with Djinn in a bottle.

Avec ce dégradé je ne suis ni dans le thème de la St Valentin, ni dans le thème des vacances à la neige ^^. Du coup j'ai eu envie de faire un coeur en accent nails avec mes oeillets de classeur, que j'ai depuis une éternité (je les avais acheté aux USA) mais que je n'ai jamais utilisé encore. Mais comme j'avais trop peur d'abimer mon dégradé, j'ai fini par réaliser mon coeur au pinceau fin et je trouve que je m'en suis plutôt bien sortie ! Tant pis pour les oeillets, je les utiliserais plus tard.

This gradient is neither a Valentine's Day manicure, neither a winter manicure ^^. So I wanted to make a heart using my reinforcement rings that I have for a while (I bought them when I was in the USA) but that I have never used yet. Yet as I was too scared about ruining my gradient I finally decided to do the little heart using a brush and some nail polish. I am quite proud of the result ! I will use my reinforcement rings later.

 

Sur mes autres ongles, j'ai représenté le côté hiver, en faisant un stamping de petits flocons de neige blancs et en utilisant mon nouveau joujou: le clear jelly stamper et la plaque de stamping BPL-032 de chez Born Pretty Store.

Je n'ai pas pris la version originale mais une copie sur BPS et je dois dire que j'en suis plutôt déçue pour le moment. Il marche au top avec mon vernis stamping essence blanc mais pas avec les Colour Alike ce qui est assez problématique puisque ce sont mes vernis spécial stamping. Je dois encore faire quelques tests pour me faire un avis définitif mais je crois que dès que ce sera possible, je me commanderais l'original pour voir la différence.

On my other nails, I represented the winter side of the nail-art by stamping some white snow flakes using my new nail-art toy: the clear jelly stamper and the stamping plate BPL-032 from Born Pretty Store.

I did not by the original one but the copy sold by Born Pretty Store and I have to admit that I am quite disappointed for now. It only works with my white stamping polish from Essence but not with my Colour Alike stain polishes, which is really annoying. I still have to do some tests to decide if I like it or not, but as soon as it will be possible for me, I think I will buy the original one, to compare them together.

J'adore le rendu de ces vernis quand il fait sombre, le côté néon ressort vraiment et c'est super chouette. En été sur peau bronzée ils doivent être super et si je vois le soleil cet été je pense que je vais beaucoup m'en servir =).

I love the result and these nail polish, especially when it is dark because we can really see the neon side and it is so nice. During summer when the skin is tanned I am sure it is much more pretty and if I have some sun this summer I think I will enjoy wearing them =).

Découverte Color Show + Premier Test Colour Alike !

Oui je sais question titre j'ai fait mieux, mais je vous rédige cet article en attente de visites pour l'appartement que nous quittons bientôt donc je ne suis pas capable de réfléchir correctement. Je ne sais pas vous mais moi je déteste attendre. Je ne sais jamais quoi faire et je tourne en rond ^^. Enfin bref, nous ne sommes pas la pour parler de ça =).

Yes I know, I have already been much more inventive concerning titles of my articles but I am writing this article while waiting people to come to visit the apartment I am leaving soon and I am not able to think correctly in such situation. I don't know about you, but me I just hate waiting. I never know what to do and I just go round and round in circles ^^. Anyway, this is not the aim of this article =).

Si vous me suivez sur les réseaux sociaux, vous savez que j'ai récemment acquis la collection complète des vernis Color Show Bleached Neons de la marque Maybelline pour la maudite some de 1,49€ l'unité. Le soir même de mes achats j'ai eu envie de poser mon préféré sur mes ongles évidemment et je viens donc vous le présenter.

If you are following me on social network, you know that I have recently bought the complete collection Color Show Bleached Neons from Maybelline for only 1.49€ each nail polish. The day I bought these nail polishes I wanted to try my favourite one as soon as I was back home and this is the one I am here to present you.

Le premier que j'ai posé donc c'est le petit Coral Heat, qui est comme son nom l'indique le vernis corail de la collection et il est absolument splendide ! 

Comme vous vous en doutez les vernis néons sont une plaie à prendre en photo donc la couleur est plus vive dans la réalité:

So the first one I have applied is Coral Heat, which is as you guessed with its name the coral one of the collection and it is really wonderful !

As you can imagine, neons colours are horrible to get in pictures so the colour is brighter in reality:

 

 

 

La pose est super facile parce que le pinceau est large et plat et ce sont les pinceaux que je préfère donc je suis ravie ^^.

Applying these nail polishes is very easy because of the brush that is large and flat and these are the ones I prefer so I was glad ^^.

Vous vous en doutez je n'ai pas pu le laisser comme ça et comme je suis dans ma période stamping vous vous doutez surement aussi que j'ai fait du stamping par dessus ^^.

You have probably guessed that I could not leave it alors and as I love stamping, you have probably guessed already that I have had a stamping to this one ^^.

J'avais envie depuis quelques temps de faire un stamping aztèque par dessus un vernis néon donc je me suis dis que c'était l'occasion parfaite et comme je n'avais qu'un seul motif type aztèque dans ma collection de plaque, je n'ai pas eu beaucoup de choix.

For a while I wanted to add a kind of aztec stamping over a neon colour and I thought that having this nail polish on my nails was the perfect occasion to do so and as I only have one kind of aztec pattern in my plates collection, I did not have so much choice.

 

 

Pour stamper j'ai utiliser pour la première fois mon vernis noir Colour Alike, et même si j'attend d'avoir testé toute la collection pour vous en dire plus, je crois que je ne changerais plus jamais de vernis pour le stamping ! J'ai fait le test en plus avec une plaque Bundle Monster qui me pose problème avec d'autres vernis donc je suis plus que ravie =). Le motif n'est pas parfait partout c'est vrai mais c'est toujours mieux qu'avec mes précédents vernis et je trouve le résultat quand même plus qu'acceptable !

To stamp I have used for the first time my black Colour from the stamping set of Colour Alike and even if I am waiting the moment I will have tried them all to give you my final opinion, I think that I will never use any other black nail polish to stamp ever ! I have tried this one with a Bundle Monster plate which always causes me trouble to stamp with other nail polishes and as it works I am so happy =). The pattern is not perfect everywhere on my nails but it is way better than it was with other nail polishes and it is very nice anyway !

La plaque qui m'a servie est donc une plaque Bundle Monster comme je vous le disais et c'est la BM-402.

J'ai adoré porter ce nail-art et je l'ai gardé plusieurs jours =). Je suis pour le moment très contente des collections Bleached Neons de Maybelline et spéciale stamping de Colour Alike mais j'attend d'avoir tout bien testé pour vous en parler d'avantage.

I really enjoyed wearing this manicure and I kept it on my nails several days =). For now I am very happy with both the collections Bleached Neons from Maybelline and stamping set from Colour Alike but I will wait until I have tried them all to tell you more about them.

Je crois que c'est tout pour cet article. J'ai l'impression d'avoir un peu bâclé la rédaction mais je ne suis pas vraiment très concentrée aujourd'hui ^^.
