Nail O'Clock #11: Peinture et Pastel !

Hello everyone !

Je vous retrouve aujourd'hui pour l'article Nail O'Cock #11 (comme vous avez pu le lire dans le titre) avec un jour de retard. Je pensais avoir largement le temps et finalement j'ai eu pas mal d'imprévu cette dernière semaine et beaucoup moins de temps que ce que je pensais et j'ai tellement envie de ne faire que du stamping en ce moment que je ne me suis pas penché sur le défi.

I am back today for the Nail O'Clock challenge #11 (as you could read it in the title) and I am one day late. I thought I would have lots of time to prepare this nail-art and this article but finally lots of things happened in my life in the previous week and I did not have time to think about it. I am also focused on stamping at that time so this theme did not really attracted me.

Pas de nail-art pour moi donc aujourd'hui mais je tenais tout de même à vous faire cet article pour vous informer que je vais mettre ce challenge en pause le temps de soit m'organiser pour les prochains thèmes, soit de légèrement modifier le challenge avec l'accord de Laureline. Je reviendrais évidemment avec un nouvel article une fois que je me serais décidée et que le Nail O'Clock fera son retour.

No nail-art fo me today so but I wanted to do this article to let you know that the challenge is having a break. I need time to organise myself for the next themes or to slightly modify the challenge if Laureline agrees. I will come back as soon as possible to tell you more about this and to let you know what's going to happen.

Nail O'clock #10: Watermarble & Glitters (ou le debut des nail-arts de Noel)

Aujourd'hui on se retrouve pour la 10e édition du Nail O'clock et encore une fois je suis dans les temps =). Je vais faire en sorte d'être dans les temps à chaque fois parce que c'est plus pratique pour moi et plus sympa pour vous.

Today I am back for the 10th edition of the Nail O'Clock and one again I am on time =). I will try to be on time for every Nail O'Clock because it is easier for me and nicer for you.

Le thème de cette 10e edition était Watermarble & Glitters. J'avais envie de refaire du watermarble depuis que je me suis achetée un petit verre rien que pour cette technique donc ce thème me convenait tout à fait.

The theme for this 10th edition was Watermarble 7 Glitters. I wanted to do watermarble again since I have bought a glass special for this technic so this theme was just perfect for me.

A l'origine j'avais une première idée en tête avec deux couleurs que je voulais associer, mais nous sommes en Décembre, je n'ai pas encore commencé les nail-art de Noël, du coup au dernier moment j'ai eu envie d'utiliser des couleurs qui font penser à Noël pour être dans le theme et parce que cette année j'ai envie de faire plein de nail-art de Noël =).

At the beginning I had another idea with 2 specific colors I wanted to associate mais it is December, I dd not start the Christmas nail-arts yet so I have finally decided to change the color I was about to use, to use some related with Christmas to be in the theme and because this year I really want to realise several Christmas nail-arts =).

Me voila donc parti pour un WM rouge et blanc avec un accent nail pailleté et voici ce que ça a donné:

So I went for a red and white WM with a glitter accent nail and here is the result:

 

 

Je ne suis pas super super satisfaite de mon nail-art puisque le résultat est plus rose que rouge, mais je pense que c'est le WM que j'ai le mieux réussi jusqu'ici donc je me dis qu'avec le temps je devrais m'améliorer ! Cette technique n'est vraiment pas celle que je préfère ni celle que je maitrise le mieux donc je fais ce que je peux ^^.

Là où je suis déçue de moi c'est que j'ai fait baver les couleurs en applicant mon top coat à paillettes =/... Mais bon, j'aime quand même mon nail-art, qui colle au thème et je suis contente d'avoir réussi à avoir un joli motif sur les ongles avec mon WM parce que ce n'est pas toujours évident pour moi avec cette technique.

I am not totally satisfied with my nail-art because the result is more pink than red but I think it is the best WM I have ever made for now so I think I could be better with time ! This technic is really not the one I prefer and the one I am good at so I always do my best ^^.

The point where I am disappointed of myself is that I made the color leaked when I applied my glittery top coat =/... Anyway I still kind of like this nail-art because it is ok with the theme of the challenge and because I am happy succeeding to have a nice pattern on my nails as it is the first time I succeed I think. 

En ce qui concerne les vernis, j'ai utilisé mon vernis Ruby Pumps de China Glaze qui apparait donc un peu rose lorsqu'il est utilisé pour un WM mais qui fonctionne très bien néanmoins, mon vernis blanc Matt White de Barry M et en accent nail j'ai utilisé Beyond Cozy de Essie qui a terriblement mal vieilli et qui est affreusement pateux alors que je n'ai pas encore atteint la moitié du flacon.... Bref.

Concerning the colors I have used, there was Ruby Pumps from China Glaze, which is more pink than red when using in a WM but which worked perfectly, Matt white from Barry M and Beyond Cozy from Essie for the accent nail, which has become so thick whereas I did not reach half of the bottle yet... Anyway.

Voila pour ma version de ce Nail O'Clock.

Pour la 11e edition, je vais repousser la date à mi Janvier pour bien laisser passer les fêtes et la nouvelle année parce que je suis sure que nous serons toutes très occupées et que nous n'aurons pas le temps de reprendre nos flacons tout de suite ou en tous cas pas pour un nail-art très élaboré.

La petite horloge nous donne comme d'habitude le thème pour le prochain challenge:

For the 11th edition I will chose a date which is quite far from now, in mid January to be sure Christmas feast will be over because I am sure we will all be very busy and it will be hard for us to do nail-art or at least to do this kind of nail-art.

Nail O'clock #9: Stamping & Glitters ! (+ premier test du Uber Mat)

Edit: Cet article aurait du paraitre le 14 Novembre, date à laquelle j'avais prévu le Nail O'Clock. Si mon article n'est pas paru c'est simplement à cause d'un bug et du fait de mon absence. Si je n'avais pas été en vacances, j'aurais rectifié le tir et aurais publié mon article à l'heure.
Edit: This article should have been posted on November 14th, the day when Nail O'Clock has been predicted. If my article was not published on that date it is simply because of a bug and because I was on holidays. If I were not on holidays, I would correct this mistake and publish my article on time.

Non vous ne rêvez pas je poste bien mon article tôt le matin et dans les temps, parce que je suis prête pour la première fois depuis quelques Nail O'Clock ^^.

J'ai enfin réussi à rattraper mon retard en terme de nail-art et j'ai eu la présence d'esprit de faire mon Nail O'Clock suffisamment en avance pour ne pas être débordée le jour J et pour vous poster mon article à l'heure !

No you're not dreaming, I am really posting my article early in the morning, on time because at last I am ready for this Nail O'Clock ^^.

I finally succeeded in catching up on my nail-art and I was clever enough to do my Nail O'Clock early enough not to be in a rush on the D-Day and to post my article on time !

Le thème de ce mois-ci était Stamping & Glitters. Je pense que vous le savez maintenant si on me parle de stamping je suis joie joie joie donc quand j'ai vu le thème j'étais ravie.

Je ne savais pas immédiatement ce que j'allais faire ni quels vernis j'allais utiliser mais peu importe, je savais que j'allais aimer faire ce nail-art.

The theme for this month was Stamping & Glitters. I think you know now that if anyone is talking about stamping, I am happy and when I saw the theme, I was happy.

I did not know immediately what would I do and which nail polish I was going to use but it did not matter because I knew I would love creating this nail-art.

La veille de réaliser mon nail-art j'ai eu une idée, comme ça, d'un coup, j'avais envie d'essayer quelque chose. Et puis j'ai reçu il y a quelques semaines maintenant mon tapis Uber Mat de la marque Uber Chic et je n'avais pas encore vraiment pris le temps de l'essayer donc cette fois ci j'avais envie de m'en servir.

The day before doing my nail-art I had an idea, just like that, I wanted to try something. I also received my Uber Mat from Uber Chic a few weeks ago and I did not have time to really try it, so this time I wanted to use it.

Sans plus attendre, voici mon nail-art:

J'ai posé en base mon vernis Gloss & shock, Precious Pink, de la marque Biguine qui m'avait été offert par ma tutrice et mes collègues pour mon anniversaire lors de mon stage de M1 (ça me rappelle d'excellents souvenirs et je suis vraiment contente de l'avoir posé de nouveau). 

Bon évidemment je ne pouvais pas faire les choses bien à 100% et j'ai oublié de le prendre en photo tout seul... mais on le voit très bien sur les ongles sans stamping donc je pense que ça rattrape un peu.

As a base color I have applied my nail polish Gloss & Shock, Precious Pink from the brand Biguine that I received for my birthday by my mentor and my colleagues when I was going my Master 1 training (it reminds me lots of excellent souvenirs and I am glad I have applied this one again).

As I could not do a perfect article, I have forgotten to take some picture of it on its own... yet we can see it very well on the nails where there is no stamping so that's the main point I think.

C'est un vernis couleur vieux rose je dirais, même si je pense qu'il est un peu plus vif que la vrai couleur vieux rose mais je ne sais pas du tout comment le décrire autrement, qui est gorgé de paillettes. En fait je crois que ce ne sont que des paillettes dans une base transparente mais il y en a tellement qu'une seule couche suffit pour le rendre opaque (d'ailleurs je ne porte qu'une seule couche). Je l'aime beaucoup ce vernis et pendant un temps je voulais me procurer les autres couleurs de la collection tellement j'aime son fini à ce vernis. Bref.

This is a kind of vintage pink color I think, even if the real vintage pink color is less bright than this one but I really did not know how to define it in another way, full of glitters. Actually I even think it is only glitters inside a transparent base color and there are so many glitters that the polish is opaque with only one layer (I am wearing only one coat by the way). I really really like this one and during a few time I even thought about buying all the colors of this collection because I love the texture of this nail polish so much. Anyway.

Par-dessus j'avais envie d'ajouter un reverse fleuri en utilisant une de mes plaques Moyou London de la collection Tropical (la Tropical 02) et je savais exactement de quelle couleur je voulais colorer ces fleurs.

Over this color I wanted to add a flower-like reverse stamping using one of my Moyou plate from the Tropical collection (the Tropical 02) and I exactly knew which color I was going to use to paint the flowers.

J'ai donc posé mon top coat Konad sur mon tapis Uber Mat (qui d'ailleurs fonctionne super bien pour cette technique) que j'ai laissé sécher le temps de poser ma base. Ensuite j'ai appliqué un vernis vert foncé, le Essence Trust in Fashion sur les feuilles du motif et le vernis noir Kind of Black S de Colour Alike sur le motif de la fleur elle-même, j'ai raclé pour enlever le surplus, j'ai prélevé le motif avec mon tampon marshmallow de chez Moyou et ensuite j'ai appliqué le motif sur le tapis (là où j'avais mis du top coat évidemment).

So I have applied my Konad top coat on the Uber Mat (this top coat is perfect for this technic by the way) that I have let dry while I was applying my base coat. Then I have a dark green polish, Essence Trust in Fashion, on the leaves of the pattern and a black nail polish, Kind of Black S from Colour Alike, on the flower of the pattern, I swiped to remove the excess, I took the pattern with my marshmallow stamper from Moyou and I stamped it on the mat (where I applied Konad top coat obviously).

 

 

J'étais contente de voir que j'avais réussi à avoir les feuille d'une couleur et la fleur d'une autre couleur sur le motif final parce que je n'étais pas vraiment sur de moi au départ.

Ensuite j'ai rempli mes fleurs avec The Brunette by The Beautyst, qui est une couleur parfaite pour la saison et j'ai laissé sécher pendant que j'appliquais une couche de mon vernis Biguine et mon top coat Poshé.

I was really happy to see that I could stamp a pattern with 2 different colors, one for the leaves and one for the flower, because before trying it I was not really sure about the result.

Then I have filled the pattern with The Brunette by The Beautyst which is a perfect color for this season and I have let it dried while I was applying my Biguine polish and my Poshé top coat over my nails.

Enfin j'ai décollé les patchs du tapis et je les ai appliqués sur les ongles que j'avais choisis, en découpant un peu les contours pour faciliter le nettoyage. J'ai fini de nettoyer les contours avec un pinceau et du dissolvant et j'ai appliqué une généreuse couche de top coat par-dessus pour terminer.

Finally, I removed the patch from the mat and I applied them over the nails I have chosen after having cut the edges of it to make the cleaning easier. I finished cleaning the contours of my nails using a brush and some remover and I finished the nail-art by applying a generous layer of top coat.

Je suis ravie du résultat et je me dis que j'aurais dû faire ce motif sur tous mes ongles. J'aime vraiment beaucoup les couleurs entre elles et je trouve ce nail-art parfait pour la saison.

I really love the result and I almost regret not having applying the reverse on all my nails. I really like the flowers and I think that the whole colors together are perfect for the season.

Du coup en ce qui concerne le tapis, je l'adore, je trouve ça vraiment super pratique à condition d'utiliser le bon top coat dessus, (le top coat effet gel de Sephora ne fonctionne pas par exemple et le quick dry top coat de essence non plus)  et je pense que je vais me remettre au reverse très souvent parce que c'est vraiment facile de cette façon !

Concenrning the mat, I love it ! It is so useful, if you use the right top coat on it (the gel top coat from Sephora does not work for example and the quick dry top coat from Essence does not work either). I really think I will do more reverse in the future because it is so easy using this technic.

Nail O'clock #8: Gradient & Pastel !

Aujourd'hui c'est le retour du Nail O'clock =). Laureline ne m'a toujours pas demandé de récupérer son bébé donc je m'en occupe encore un peu avec grand plaisir !

Today the Nail O'clock challenge is back ! Laureline did not ask me to get her baby back so I am still taking care of it with lots of pleasure !

Le thème de cette fois ci était Dégradé & Pastel et je dois avouer qu'au moment meme ou les aiguilles sont tombées sur ce theme je savais ce que je voulais faire =P. Et oui parfois l'inspiration vient très très vite alors que parfois c'est plus compliqué.

Par contre je suis toujours en retard pour ma réalisation (comme toujours ^^) étant donné que je me dis toujours que j'ai le temps alors que finalement je ne l'ai plus.

This time the theme was Gradient & Pastel and I have to admit that as soon as the brush of the clock showed this theme, I knew what I was going to paint on my nails =P. Yes sometimes inspiration come very quick whereas sometimes it takes most time to come.

However I am still late to post my article (as usual ^^) because I always think that I have lots of time and at the end I don't have time anymore. 

Il y a encore des plaques de stamping Moyou London de la collection Tropical que je n'ai pas utilisé et pour ce Nail O'clock #8 j'ai eu envie d'en utiliser une en particulier avec deux des motifs, le tout sur un dégradé pastel évidemment. Maintenant que mon nail-art est terminé je ne suis pas sure d'être vraiment dans le thème pastel mais bon, j'aime quand même:

I still have some Moyou London plates from the Tropical collection that I did not use yet and for this Nail O'clock #8 I wanted to use one in particular with two different patterns over a gradient obviously. Now that my nail-art is done, I am not sure it is in the pastel theme but I like it anyway:

 

 

Alors oui je vous disais que je voulais utiliser deux motifs et la vous n'en voyez qu'un seul, c'est tout simplement parce que je n'ai pas eu le temps de totalement terminer mon nail-art donc je reviendrais plus tard sur cet article pour vous mettre en edit la suite de mon stamping.

So I told you I wanted to use 2 different patterns and you can only see one, it is just because I did not have time to totally finish my nail-art so I will come back later to edit this article with the next part of my stamping.

Vous aurez donc remarqué que ce sont les flamants roses qui sont à l'honneur ici grâce à ma plaque de stamping Tropical 06 de Moyou. J'ai fait mes stickers en reverse stamping sur mon nouveau tapis Uber Mat et pour un premier test je suis plutôt satisfaite même si je dois encore trouver le parfait top coat pour cette technique donc je vous en parlerais d'avantage plus tard.

You will notice that the pink flamingo is represented on my nails thanks to the Tropical 06 plate from Moyou. I have realised some stickers using the reverse stamping technic on my new Uber Mat and for a first trial I am satisfied enough even if I still have to find the perfect top coat for this technic so I will tell you more about it later.

J'ai utilisé mes petits vernis Ciaté Hoopla et Kiss Chaze avec le Matt White de Barry m pour le dégradé que j'ai recouvert de Shake me! I'm pretty de Essence. Et j'ai utilisé les même couleurs de chez Ciaté pour colorer mes flamants roses. J'ai recouvert le tout de mon top coat Poshé et c'est tout.

I have used my Ciaté nail polishes Hoopla and Kiss Chaze with the Matt White from Barry m for the gradient that I recovered with some Shake me! I'ma pretty from Essence. And I have used the same color to fill my flamingo. I finished with my Poshé top coat and that's it.

Sur cet article vous voyez ma main droite parce que j'ai mal collé mon sticker sur ma main gauche et donc on ne voit pas bien le flamant rose. Oui j'ai des ongles assez petit donc je dois faire attention à bien positionner mon sticker si je veux que le motif soit complet. Je vais m'améliorer avec le temps j'en suis sure =).

In this article you can see my right hand because the sticker I have applied on my left hand is not well applied so it is not very well visible. Yes my nails are quite short so I really have to pay attention to well apply the sticker if I want the pattern to be complete. I will improve with time I am sure about it =).

EDIT: Voici le nail-art au complet avec le second stamping rajouté ! je suis juste fan de ce nail-art même si je ne suis pas satisfaite de mes photos qui donne l'impression que le nettoyage est mal fait ou bien que mes contours sont secs.... enfin bref, je dois encore m'améliorer en terme de photo.

EDIT: Here is the final nail-art  with the other stamping pattern ! I really love this nail-art even if I don't really like my pictures because they look like if I did not clean well the contours of my nails or if my contours were very dry... anyway, I still have to improve concerning pictures.

Nail O'Clock #7: French & Fashion Inspiring

Hello hello !!

Oui c'est bien moi je suis de retour je n'ai pas déserté le blog =). Je suis rentrée en Irlande à la date prévue mais il y a eu pas mal de choses non prévues qui m'ont empêché de revenir par ici et de vous poster les articles que j'aurais du vous poster. Rien de grave juste des choses qui prennent beaucoup de temps ^^.

Yes it's me I am back and I did not give up my blog =). I was back in Ireland at the expected date but there was lots of unpredicted things that happened and that prevented me from coming back here to post the articles I wanted to show you. Nothing serious, just life and lots of things that take lots of time ^^.

Je suis donc en retard pour vous poster le Nail O'clock #7 mais mieux vaut tard que jamais dis le dicton alors je suis sure que vous ne m'en tiendrez pas rigueur =).

So I am late to show you the Nail O'clock #7 but it's better late than never so I am sure you will forgive me =).

Le thème de ce challenge n'était vraiment pas évident et j'ai du faire quelques recherches pour trouver de l'inspiration. Mais j'ai trouvé deux idées bien avant la date du défi donc j'étais assez contente.

The theme for this challenge was not very easy and I had to look for some ideas on the Internet to know what to do. I finally found 2 different ideas way before the date of the challenge so I was quite happy.

Je ne sais pas bien de quel défilé elle vient mais il me semble que c'est un défilé qui s'est déroulé à Londres.  Ce n'est vraiment pas une robe que je porterais mais en inspiration nail-art j'ai trouvé ça top !

I don't really know where does it comes from but I think it's from a fashion show that happened in London. This is really not the kind of dress I could be wearing but I found it perfect as an inspiration for my nail-art !

Et voici le nail-art que j'ai réalisé en m'inspirant de cette tenue:

Comme vous pouvez le constater je me suis inspirée du haut du jupon de la robe pour faire mon nail-art puisque je voulais garder la démarcation orange comme french pour coller au thème de ce défi.

As you can see, I have been inspired only by the drop of the skirt of the dress for my nail-art, as I wanted to keep the orange line to fit with the theme "french manicure".

Je n'avais pas vernis mes ongles depuis deux semaines alors je dois dire que ce nail-art m'a pris un peu de temps mais quel bonheur de réutiliser mes petits solvants =). Je n'ai d'ailleurs fait qu'une seule main pour gagner du temps =P.

I did not have painted my nails for 2 weeks when I did this one so I have to say that it took me a few time to realise this nail-art but it was such a pleasure to use my polish again =). I have only made one hand to win some time =P.

Les couleurs de ce nail-art ne sont pas des couleurs que j'affectionne particulièrement mais j'aime beaucoup leur association et le rendu me plait assez =). Si j'ai le temps je ferais ma main droite et je garderais ce nail-art aussi longtemps qu'il ne s'écaillera pas =).

The colours of this nail-art are not the one I prefer but together I like them very much and I really like the whole nail-art =). If I have some free time I will also paint my right hand and keep this nail-art as long as it will stay on my nails =).

Comme vous pouvez le voir je suis revenue à la forme semi carrée pour mes ongles. J'aime beaucoup cette forme mais j'ai du mal à les limer correctement donc je pense que je vais alterner entre cette forme et les ongles arrondis, en espérant que cela ne vous gêne pas trop.

As you can see, my kind of square nails are back. I really like this shape but it is sometimes difficult for me to file them this way so I think that I will alternate between this shape and the round one. I hope it does not annoy you.

Déborah a encore participé à ce défi et j'en suis très contente =). Elle était d'ailleurs plus dans les temps que moi puisque son nail-art est en ligne depuis 9 heures ce matin. Voici donc sa réalisation:

Le thème sera donc dégradé & pastel.

Je ne crois pas que ce thème soit déjà tombé, et je sais déjà qu'il sera plus facile de trouver une idée que pour le thème précédent =P.

Pour la date disons le 24 Octobre 2015. D'ici là je devrais avoir récupéré une organisation digne de ce nom et je ne devrais pas être en retard ^^.

I don't think we already had this theme before and I already know that it will be easer to find an idea for this theme than for the previous one =P.

Concerning the date, let's say October 24th, 2015. I think I will be organised again and I won't be late =P.

Avec le chéri nous déménageons début Octobre donc d'ici la nous allons passer beaucoup de temps dans les cartons, le rangement et le nettoyage de notre actuel appartement. Je risque d'être présente en pointillé et de ne pas pouvoir revenir très rapidement, mais ceci est temporaire parce que croyez moi j'ai beaucoup d'idées de nail-art en tête mais aussi pas mal de nouveauté à tester donc j'ai hâte d'avoir de nouveau le temps de me vernir les ongles et de venir par ici vous présenter mes réalisations.

My boyfriend and I are going to move from our current apartment at the beginning of October month and I think we will spend some time packing our stuffs, cleaning the apartment we are leaving and tidying our stuff. I think I will be less present here and I will to be able to come back very soon but it is only temporary because believe me I have lots of nail-art ideas in my mind and I have also lots of new things to try so I am really looking forward to having more time to show you my nails.
