Dans mon petit jardin !

Hello everyone !

Je vous retrouve après une "petite" absence. Encore une fois je sais. Comme d'habitude celle-ci n'était pas prévue non plus. J'ai été malade récemment et j'ai été arrêtée 3 jours par le médecin. Après ces trois jours je ne me sentais pas encore en très grande forme du coup je n'avais pas particulierement envie de me poser devant mon ordinateur pour faire des articles. Ensuite mon petit frère a débarqué en Irlande et ce pour deux semaines donc je profite un maximum de sa presence ici =).

I am back after a "short" break. Another time, yes, I know. As usual it was not predicted from me. I was on sick leave last week for 3 days but after these 3 days I did not really feel better so I did not really want to write articles. Then my brother arrived in Ireland and he is going to stay for 2 weeks so I am enjoying his presence here as much as possible =). 

J'ai quelques nail-art d'avance parce que je continue de me faire les ongles évidemment donc je vais essayer de venir vous poster ça par ici aussi régulièrement que possible.

I have som epictures of previous nail-art that are ready, because I keep painting my nails, obviously so I will try to come here to present them to you as often as possible.

Pour reprendre j'ai eu envie de vous montrer le nail-art que je viens tout juste de dissolver parce que je l'ai vraiment beaucoup aimé !

To come back here, I wanted to present you the last nail-art I have made and that I have just removed from my nails because I have really liked it very much !

Pour ce nail-art j'ai commencé par poser Re-Fresh Mint de China Glaze et pour être honnête avec vous je n'avais pas l'intention de lui ajouter un nail-art au départ.

For this nail-art I have started to apply Re-Fresh Mint from China Glaze and to be honest with you, I did not want to add any nail-art over it first.

  

Je trouve cette couleur tellement douce et fraiche que j'avais bien envie de la garder telle quelle sur mes ongles.

This color is so soft and so fresh that I just wanted to enjoy it on its own on my nails.

 

 

Et puis finalement je me suis souvenue que j'avais une plaque trop sympa que je n'avais pas encore utilisé.

But finally I have remembered a very nice plate that I did not use yet.

 

Cette plaque vient du site Néejolie et c'est la BP-46. Dès que je l'avais vu sur le site je m'étais imaginé un petit nail-art que j'avais très envie de réaliser.

This plate is from Neejolie website and it is plate number: BP-46  As soon I have seen it on the website I have imagined a nail-art that I really wanted to realise.

 

 

Sur tous mes ongles sauf sur l'annulaire j'ai stampé le motif feuille de la plaque et sur mes annulaires j'ai réalisé un reverse stamping marguerite.

Over all my nails, except ring fingers, I have stamped the leaves pattern of the plate and on my ring fingers I have made a reverse stamping using the daisy patter.

Sur mes pouces et mes majeurs j'ai également réalisé un reverse stamping avec le petit champignon de la plaque que je trouve vraiment trop choupi et qui m'a fait craqué pour cette plaque.

On my thumbs and middle fingers I have also realized a reverse stamping using the little mushroom of the plate that I find so cute and that totally made me by this plate.

 

 

Je trouve ce nail-art super frais et trop mignon et franchement j'ai adoré le porter. J'ai pu le garder une semaine sans qu'il ne s'écaille pour mon plus grand bonheur.

I find this nail-art so fresh and so cute and I really loved wearing it. I could keep it for 1 week without any damage for my great pleasure.

Voila pour ce nail-art. J'espère qu'il vous aura plu autant qu'à moi.

Encore une fois je m'excuse pour cette absence et je vais essayer de revenir plus fréquemment par ici pour vous montrer mes nail-art.

Les fleurs de l'hiver !

Je ne vous ai pas parlé de mes résolutions pour 2016 et je n'avais pas vraiment l'intention de le faire mais récemment je me suis lancé un "défi" si je puis dire et on peut dire que c'est une sorte de résolution en rapport avec les vernis et le nail-art donc je vais vous en parler aujourd'hui.

I did not tell you anything about my resolution for 2016 and I did not have the intention to but recently I kind of "challenged" myself if I can say so and as it is a kind of resolution related with nail polish and nail-art I have decided to tell you about it today.

Ce défi c'est tout simplement de poser tous les vernis de ma vernithèque que je n'ai pas encore posés. Je ne pensais pas que ça m'arriverait un jour puisqu'en général quand j'achète un vernis je le pose tout de suite. Mais j'ai eu la chance l'été dernier de recevoir beaucoup de vernis en même temps (merci Pmabelle encore une fois <3) et j'ai récupéré pas mal de commande cet hiver pour Noël et du coup tout poser en même temps s'est avéré un peu compliqué.

This challenge is simply to apply on my nails all the nail polish in my collection that I did not apply yet. I did not think this would happened to me one day as generally when I buy a nail polish I apply it as soon as it is in my hands. But last summer I was very lucky to receive lots of nail polish in the same time (thank you again Pmabelle <3) and I picked up lots of orders this winter for Christmas and applying all these nail polish in the same time was not really possible.

Il me reste donc quelques vernis que je n'ai encore jamais posé et que je vais donc vous présenter dans les prochains articles.

So I still have some nail polish that I did not apply on my nails and I am going to present them to you in the next articles.

Donc aujourd'hui je vais vous montrer un vernis China Glaze que j'ai reçu cet été et qui était un peu foncé pour que je le pose tout de suite. Je l'ai vraiment découvert quand j'ai refait mon nuancier sur des touillettes en plastique et je l'ai trouvé absolument magique.

Je ne l'ai pas posé sur tous mes ongles donc je ne vais pas pouvoir vous montrer de swatchs à proprement parlé mais je pense qu'on le voit bien tout de même:

Today I'm going to show you a nail polish from China Glaze that I received last summer and that was too dark (for me) to be applied then. I only discovered it recently when I swatched all my nail polish on my plastic tips display and I found it amazing.

I did not apply it over all my nails so I could not present you a real swatch but I think you can see it correctly anyway:

J'ai donc posé Midtown Magic de China Glaze sur mon pouce, mon index et mon auriculaire. Sur mon majeur et mon annulaire j'ai posé Her Rose Adagio de A England qui s'associe très bien avec je trouve.

Et puis par dessus Her Rose Adagio j'ai eu envie d'un stamping reverse parce que ça faisait un moment que je n'en avais pas fait.
I have applied Midtown Magic from China Glaze so on my thumbs, my index and my pinky. On my middle finger and my ring finger I have applied Her Rose Adagio which match very well with Midtown Magic according to me.
And then over Her Rose Adagio I wanted to add a reverse stamping as it has been a long time since I did not to one.

J'ai fait le tour de mes plaques et j'ai trouvé un motif fleuri sur ma plaque QXE-06 (ou encore BP-L002 de chez Born Pretty Store) qui me plaisait bien et que j'avais envie d'utiliser.
I looked among all my stamping plates and I found a flower pattern on the plate QXE-06 (also named BP-L002 at Born Pretty Store) that I really liked and wanted to use.

 

 

Pour faire mon reverse stamping j'ai appliqué une couche de top coat sur mon tapis Uber Mat. Une fois cette couche sèche j'ai stampé mon motif. Ensuite munie d'un pinceau, j'ai coloré les espaces avec Midtown Magic de China Glaze, Briar Rose de A England et 428 de Kiko. J'ai également laissé quelques espaces vides pour que l'on puisse voir Her Rose Adagio de A England en transparence. J'ai attendu que ça sèche et ensuite j'ai appliqué mes patchs maison sur mes ongles. Une couche de top coat et c'était terminé !
To create my reverse stamping patch I have applied a coat of top coat over my Uber Mat. Once it has dried I have stamped my pattern. Then with a thin brush I have coloured the pattern with Midtown Magic de China Glaze, Briar Rose from A England and 428 from Kiko. I have also left some space blank so that we can see Her Rose Adagio by transparency. I have waited a few minutes that it dried and then I have applied the patch over my nails. I finished by a coat of top coat and it was done !

J'adore vraiment cette technique qui permet de faire plein de jolie chose assez facilement !

I really love this technic that allows to create very nice design very easily !

Pour en revenir à ce petit Midtown Magic de China Glaze, comme vous pouvez le voir c'est un joli marron foncé gorgé de reflets dorés qui lui donnent une certaine profondeur une fois exposé à la lumière. Je l'aime vraiment beaucoup et pour la période il est parfait.

Back to Midtown Magic from China Glaze, as you could see it is a very nice dark brown colour full of golden sparkles that gives him a kind of depth once in the light. I really really like it and it is perfect for the season.

Je pense essayer de le reporter pour lui associer un autre nail-art mais j'avoue ne pas avoir beaucoup d'idées tellement ce vernis est foncé. A réfléchir !

I think I will apply it again to associate him another nail-art but I have to admit that I do not have a lot of idea as it is a very dark colour. I will have to think about it !

En tous cas je suis ravie de mon stamping reverse et j'ai très envie que ce nail-art me dure longtemps !

By the way I am very happy with this nail-art and I hope it will last for a while !

Christmas is coming !

Hello everyone !

Je suis ravie de vous retrouver aujourd'hui pour vous montrer mon second nail-art de Noël ! (le premier étant mon nail-art du Nail O'Clock #10).

L'hiver dernier je n'ai pas véritablement fait de nail-art de Noël à part un braided nails que j'avais copié sur Elodie du blog Sois Polish et que vous pouvez retrouver juste ici si ça vous dit. Mais cette année je me suis offert la plaque de stamping Festive 01 de chez Moyou London et j'ai très très envie de l'utiliser au maximum pendant tout ce mois de décembre.

I am glad to come back today to show you my second Christmas nail-art ! (the first one was the nail-art I have made for the Nail O'Clock # 10).

Last winter I did not really create Christmas nail-art except a braided nails that I have copied on Elodie from the blog Sois Polish and that you can see here if you want. But this year I have bought the stamping plate Festive 01 from Moyou London and I really really wanted to use it as much as possible during this month of December.

Je ne sais pas encore bien ce que je vais faire pour le jour de Noël mais je sais déjà quelle partie du motif de cette plaque je vais utiliser =).

I don't exactly know yet what I am going to wear on the Christmas day but I already know which part of the plate I am going to use =).

Pour le nail-art du jour, j'avais envie de faire une sorte de candy cane sur mes ongles mais en version rouge et or plutôt que blanc et rouge. Je savais que parmi mes plaques j'avais un motif dans le genre donc je l'ai cherché et j'ai fini par le retrouver sur ma plaque BM-423. Et puis j'avais envie d'un accent nail alors j'ai choisi de faire un reverse stamping avec ma plaque Festive 01 et le motif de sapin de Noël qui est en bas à gauche de la plaque.

Et voila ce que donne le résultat:

For the nail-art of the day I wanted to create a kind of candy cane on my nails with gold and red colors instead of red and white colors. I knew that I had this kind of pattern on one of my plates so I have looked for it and I found it on my plate BM-423. I also wanted to make an accent nail so I have chosen to do a reverse stamping with my plate Festive 01 using the Christmas tree pattern in the bottom left-hand corner of the plate.

And here is the result:

 

 

 

J'ai pris mes photos devant mon sapin de Noël parce que c'était tout à fait de circonstance et puis parce que c'est vraiment plus joli =).

I have taken my pictures in front of my Christmas tree because it the perfect occasion and because it was very nice =).

J'ai utilisé en base de ce nail-art mon fidèle Ruby Pumps de China Glaze (oui encore lui) qui est le vernis rouge de Noël par excellence selon moi et que je n'utilise d'ailleurs qu'à cette période de l'année. Puis j'ai stampé mes motifs avec Good as Gold de Essie et j'ai rempli le sapin de Noël avec le numéro 428 de Kiko qui est également parfait pour la saison je trouve =).

I have used as a base color for this nail-art Ruby Pumps from China Glaze (yes, again) which is the perfect red polish for Christmas, according to me, and that I never use at any other time of the year. Then I have stamped the patterns using Good as Gold from Essie and I have filled the Christmas tree using my Kiko polish number 428 which is also perfect for this period of the year =).

Je suis absolument fan de mes ongles et j'ai déjà hâte de faire mes prochains nail-art de Noël ! J'aime cette période de l'année et à ce moment là j'aime l'hiver, moi qui suis une grande frileuse et qui déteste le froid. J'aime l'ambiance, les lumières, commencer à faire mes achats de Noël et manger du chocolat !

J'ai d'ailleurs déjà acheté tous les cadeaux pour le chéri, ainsi qu'une partie des cadeaux de ma meilleure amie et j'ai presque toutes mes autres idées de cadeaux =).

I am absolutely a big fan of my nails and I am already looking forward to doing my next Christmas nail-art ! I really really like this period of the year and this is the only moment when I like winter even if I am very sensitive to the cold and I hate the cold. I love the atmosphere, the lights, starting buying Christmas presents and eating chocolate !

By the way I have already bought all the presents for my boyfriend but also part of the presents for my best friend and I have almost found all the other presents idea =).

Et vous Noël ça vous fait quoi? Vous avez des étoiles dans les yeux ou bien vous détestez cette période de l'année?

Nail O'clock #10: Watermarble & Glitters (ou le debut des nail-arts de Noel)

Aujourd'hui on se retrouve pour la 10e édition du Nail O'clock et encore une fois je suis dans les temps =). Je vais faire en sorte d'être dans les temps à chaque fois parce que c'est plus pratique pour moi et plus sympa pour vous.

Today I am back for the 10th edition of the Nail O'Clock and one again I am on time =). I will try to be on time for every Nail O'Clock because it is easier for me and nicer for you.

Le thème de cette 10e edition était Watermarble & Glitters. J'avais envie de refaire du watermarble depuis que je me suis achetée un petit verre rien que pour cette technique donc ce thème me convenait tout à fait.

The theme for this 10th edition was Watermarble 7 Glitters. I wanted to do watermarble again since I have bought a glass special for this technic so this theme was just perfect for me.

A l'origine j'avais une première idée en tête avec deux couleurs que je voulais associer, mais nous sommes en Décembre, je n'ai pas encore commencé les nail-art de Noël, du coup au dernier moment j'ai eu envie d'utiliser des couleurs qui font penser à Noël pour être dans le theme et parce que cette année j'ai envie de faire plein de nail-art de Noël =).

At the beginning I had another idea with 2 specific colors I wanted to associate mais it is December, I dd not start the Christmas nail-arts yet so I have finally decided to change the color I was about to use, to use some related with Christmas to be in the theme and because this year I really want to realise several Christmas nail-arts =).

Me voila donc parti pour un WM rouge et blanc avec un accent nail pailleté et voici ce que ça a donné:

So I went for a red and white WM with a glitter accent nail and here is the result:

 

 

Je ne suis pas super super satisfaite de mon nail-art puisque le résultat est plus rose que rouge, mais je pense que c'est le WM que j'ai le mieux réussi jusqu'ici donc je me dis qu'avec le temps je devrais m'améliorer ! Cette technique n'est vraiment pas celle que je préfère ni celle que je maitrise le mieux donc je fais ce que je peux ^^.

Là où je suis déçue de moi c'est que j'ai fait baver les couleurs en applicant mon top coat à paillettes =/... Mais bon, j'aime quand même mon nail-art, qui colle au thème et je suis contente d'avoir réussi à avoir un joli motif sur les ongles avec mon WM parce que ce n'est pas toujours évident pour moi avec cette technique.

I am not totally satisfied with my nail-art because the result is more pink than red but I think it is the best WM I have ever made for now so I think I could be better with time ! This technic is really not the one I prefer and the one I am good at so I always do my best ^^.

The point where I am disappointed of myself is that I made the color leaked when I applied my glittery top coat =/... Anyway I still kind of like this nail-art because it is ok with the theme of the challenge and because I am happy succeeding to have a nice pattern on my nails as it is the first time I succeed I think. 

En ce qui concerne les vernis, j'ai utilisé mon vernis Ruby Pumps de China Glaze qui apparait donc un peu rose lorsqu'il est utilisé pour un WM mais qui fonctionne très bien néanmoins, mon vernis blanc Matt White de Barry M et en accent nail j'ai utilisé Beyond Cozy de Essie qui a terriblement mal vieilli et qui est affreusement pateux alors que je n'ai pas encore atteint la moitié du flacon.... Bref.

Concerning the colors I have used, there was Ruby Pumps from China Glaze, which is more pink than red when using in a WM but which worked perfectly, Matt white from Barry M and Beyond Cozy from Essie for the accent nail, which has become so thick whereas I did not reach half of the bottle yet... Anyway.

Voila pour ma version de ce Nail O'Clock.

Pour la 11e edition, je vais repousser la date à mi Janvier pour bien laisser passer les fêtes et la nouvelle année parce que je suis sure que nous serons toutes très occupées et que nous n'aurons pas le temps de reprendre nos flacons tout de suite ou en tous cas pas pour un nail-art très élaboré.

La petite horloge nous donne comme d'habitude le thème pour le prochain challenge:

For the 11th edition I will chose a date which is quite far from now, in mid January to be sure Christmas feast will be over because I am sure we will all be very busy and it will be hard for us to do nail-art or at least to do this kind of nail-art.
