Maniswap #2 avec Deborah: Du neon en Automne !

Hello hello !

Je suis très fière de moi en ce moment, puisque j'ai réussi à me mettre à jour en ce qui concerne les nail-art que je dois faire et je suis plutôt productive en terme d'articles donc je suis très très contente =). Bref !

I am very proud of myself these times because I succeeded in being up to date concerning the nail-art I have to do and I am quite productive concerning posting new articles so I am very very happy =). Anyway !

Aujourd'hui je viens pour vous présenter mon second mani swap, que j'ai réalisé avec ma copine Deborah du blog Arobed's Nails.

Deborah je l'ai rencontré grâce aux commentaires qu'elle laissait sur mon blog, qui m'ont fait aller sur son blog et découvrir son univers. Ensuite elle a rejoint la team des comploteuses et on échangeait souvent au sujet des complots. Et puis on a fini par s'envoyer des emails pour parler de stamping principalement mais pas seulement et aujourd'hui je peux dire que c'est une amie (hein c'est vrai Deborah?^^) et je suis très contente de l'avoir rencontrée, virtuellement parlant =).

Today I am coming to present you my second mani swap that I made with my friend Deborah from the blog Arobed's Nails.

I met Deborah thanks to the comment she left on my blog and that made me visit her blog and discover her universe. Then she joined the Plot Team so we used to talk about plots quite often. And finally we are sending emails to each other very often mostly talking about stamping but not only and today I can say that she is a friend of mine (do you agree Deborah?^^) and I am very happy having meeting her, online I mean =).

Elle m'a proposé il y a quelques temps déjà de faire un mani swap avec elle et j'étais très contente parce que je voulais lui demander mais j'avais déjà un Inspinails en cours et comme j'étais en galère pour publier mes articles dans les temps je voulais attendre d'avoir retrouvé un rythme normal pour lui proposer mais elle m'a devancée ^^.

She asked me a few times ago to do a mani swap with her and I was very happy about this because I wanted to ask her to do one with me but as I was already preparing an Inspinails and I was really late concerning my articles, I wanted to find a good rhythm first, before asking her but finally she asked me first ^^.

J'avais fait un premier choix de manucure sur son blog au tout début de nos échanges, et puis récemment j'ai refait un tour sur son blog et j'ai finalement choisi une autre manucure =).

I have chosen a first manicure of her on her blog as inspiration and recently I have checked her blog again and I finally changed my mind and decided to go for another manicure =).

Sans plus attendre, je vous montre le nail-art:

(oui je sais je me suis un peu foiré sur mon majeur, ma ligne argentée n'est pas complètement opaque, mais j'ai fait mes ongles dans la pénombre et je ne me suis rendue compte de cela qu'après avoir fini de prendre mes photos)

(yes I know that the straight silver line on my middle finger is not perfect, this is because I painted my nails in the half-light and so I realised it just after finishing taking my photos)

J'ai choisi celui-ci puisque j'avais le vernis qu'elle a utilisé pour ce nail-art et que je ne l'avais pas encore posé donc c'était juste l'occasion parfaite.

J'ai suivi ces instructions pour réaliser mon nail-art: deux couches de blanc (Blanc Essie), une moitié de l'ongle en rose néon directement avec le pinceau du vernis (Tropink de Maybelline), un pinceau liner et un vernis argenté pour les trait de "séparation" (Mirror 616 Silver de Kiko) et quelques pois sur la moitie blanche avec un dotting tool. Et bien vous savez quoi, j'étais persuadée que je ne serais pas capable de tracer des traits droits avec le pinceau du vernis, ni même avec un pinceau liner que je n'avais d'ailleurs jamais utilisé, donc je suis ravie ravie ravie de voir que finalement j'en suis capable.

I have chosen this one because I have the exact same nal polish she used for this nail-art and I did not use it yet so it was just the perfect occasion.

I followed the instructions she gave on her blog to realise my manicure: 2 coats of white polish (Blanc from Essie), half of each nail with neon pink directly with the polish brush (Tropink from Maybelline), a liner brush and a silver polish to draw the lines (Mirror 616 Silver from Kiko) and a few dots on the white part of the nails using a dotting tool. And you know why? I was sure I would not be able to draw straight lines using a polish brush or even a liner brush that I have never used before by the way, so I am really really really happy to know I am able to do so.

Je pensais devoir passer des heures sur ce nail-art alors qu'une petite trentaine de minutes m'a suffi. Vraiment je suis super contente d'avoir choisi ce nail-art pour découvrir que je suis capable de faire plus de choses que ce que je ne pensais !

I thought this nail-art would take me hours whereas it finally only took me half an hour I think. I am really happy I have chosen this nail-art to discover I am able to do more things than I was thinking !

Mani Swap avec Laureline =) !

Je vous retrouve en direct depuis mon balcon (oui oui vous avez bien lu =P) pour vous présenter mon tout premier Mani Swap =).

I am writing you today from my balcony (yes, it is true =P) to show you my very first Mani Swap =).

       

Je l'ai réalisé avec la jolie Laureline du blog Complètement Vernie qui a demandé un jour sur Twitter qui voudrait bien faire un mani swap avec elle. Et moi depuis quelques temps, j'avais très envie de faire soit un mani swap, soit un inspinails avec une autre blogueuse alors j'ai dit oui tout de suite ! Et elle a accepté de le faire avec moi alors j'étais ravie ^^.

I made it with the pretty Laureline from the blog Complètement Vernie who asked on Twitter who wanted to make a mani swap with her. And I was thinking for a while to make either a mani swap either an insp. nails with another blogger so I directly said Yes ! And she was ok to do it with me so I was really happy ^^.

Un mani swap qu'est-ce que c'est? ce sont deux blogueuses (ou pas d'ailleurs) qui décident de reprendre une manucure parmi celles de l'autre pour la reproduire à sa façon.

Le but est de la reproduire à l'identique, dans la mesure du possible évidemment, mais comme on fait avec ce qu'on a nous même dans notre vernithèque, parfois ça diffère un petit peu.

What is a mani swap? It is a challenge between two bloggers (or not blogger) who decide to reproduce one of each other manicure.

The aim is to reproduce it identically if it is possible obviously but as we have to deal with our own nail polishes and accessories sometimes it can be a little bit different.

Une fois la décision prise de faire ce mani swap, le plus dur est de choisir la manucure que l'on souhaite reproduire. Pour ma part il y en avait une que je voulais reproduire, mais je pensais ne pas avoir ce qu'il fallait et puis finalement si, alors même si j'en avais trouvé 3 autres au cas où, je suis revenue sur mon premier coup de coeur et il s'agit de son nail-art industriel.

Once the decision has been taken to do the mani swap, the most difficult part is to chose the manicure we want to reproduce. At he beginning I wanted to reproduce one of Laureline's manicure in particular but I thought that I did not have the right accessories and finally I had. So even if I had found 3 other manicures to reproduce, I decided to keep my first idea which was her industrial nail-art.

J'ai essayé de refaire les mêmes poses que la miss, mais je n'y suis pas arrivée alors vous aurez mes traditionnelles poses à moi et j'espère que ça vous ira quand même =). Je m'excuse d'avance pour l'avalanche de photo, mais j'ai essayé de prendre en photo tous les reflets et toutes les nuances de ce nail-art, et ce n'était pas évident:

I have tried to make the same hand positions as her, but I did not succeed so I have kept my own hand position and I hope that it will suit to you anyway =). I apologise now for the huge amount of picture but I have tried to represent all the reflects of this nail-art and it was not that easy:

Je n'avais aucun des vernis et accessoires que Laureline a utilisé donc j'ai fait avec ce que j'avais: à la place de Dime Piece de Enchanted Polish, j'ai utilisé le sublime Harp on it de Color Club et à la place des sheer tints de OPI, j'ai dilué une goutte des 3 couleurs dont j'avais besoin dans un vernis transparent qui ne me sert jamais. C'est quand même pas évident de gérer les quantités pour créer des top coats colorés, mais ma foi, ça rend bien =).

I don't have any of the nail polish and accessories that Laureline used so I realised this manicure using what I had in my nail polish collection: instead of Dime piece  from Enchanted Polish I have used Harp on it from Color Club and instead of the sheer tints from OPI, I have diluted 1 drop of the 3 colours that I needed in a transparent nail polish that I never use. It is not very easy to deal with the amount of nail polish to create coloured top coat but I am quite happy with the result =).

Comme vous pouvez le voir mon stamping n'est pas non plus identique, puisque je n'avais pas la plaque Moyou qu'elle a utilisé. J'ai utilisé ma plaque GA15 de chez Gals Cosmetics et même si mon stamping n'est pas parfait, je suis très très contente de cette manucure qui rend différemment à l'ombre et au soleil. C'est bien simple tout le temps que j'ai porté cette manucure je n'ai pas pu m'empêcher de regarder mes ongles ^^.

As you can see my stamping is not the same either because I did not have the same stamping plates from Moyou that she used. I have used my plate GA15 from Gals Cosmetics and even if my stamping is not perfect I am very very happy with this manicure that is very different in the light and in the shadow. Every time I was wearing this manicure I coud not help myself watching at my nails ^^.

Je suis bien consciente que ma version est moins jolie que la sienne mais néanmoins j'aime beaucoup et je suis assez fière de moi parce que je m'améliore en stamping et parce que j'ai testé de nouvelles choses, et je pense que c'est le plus important en nail-art.

I know that my nail-art is less beautiful than the one from Laureline but I like it anyway and I am quite proud pf myself because I have improved a lot with the stamping technic and because I have realised new things and I think that it is the most important in nail-art.
